GUIDELINES
FOR SUBMISSIONS
CSQ is a refereed journal: all articles
are submitted to qualified peers for evaluation. The identity of the
author is not revealed to the evaluator nor the identity of the
evaluator to the author. You may cite your own previous work, but you
should not identify yourself as author within the article.
When submitting an article, please keep
the following points in mind:
- Print the author's name on the first
and last page only.
- At the end of the article provide the
address at which the author may receive correspondence. Include an
e-mail address if possible.
- On a separate page, please include a
brief biographical note, listing, for example, current occupation
and position. For examples, see the "Contributors" section
at the end of recent issue of CSQ.
Concerning questions of style:
- Please conform to CSQ's style sheet.
This style sheet is available by mail upon request or
here
in PDF format.
- Please use footnotes, not endnotes.
- Please use CSQ's standard
abbreviations. A full listing of abbreviations is available by mail
upon request or here in PDF format.
For additional help with footnotes, see
Footnote
Basics.
Concerning formatting:
- Keep formatting to a minimum. Use no headers or footers.
- Articles submitted by mail may be printed or typed with both text
and footnotes double-spaced (no endnotes).
- Articles submitted by e-mail should be in RTF format.
